Reverse osmosis and water softeners in Elche
Carrying water bottles home every week, shower screens white with limescale, taps that clog and a water heater that lasts half as long as it should. We install reverse osmosis units for drinking water and softeners for the whole house, and take care of the filters.

Reverse osmosis: water for drinking and cooking
A reverse osmosis unit sits under the kitchen sink and filters water through a membrane that holds back most of the salts, limescale and chlorine. The water comes out of its own small tap, ready for drinking, cooking, tea and coffee.
No more carrying bottles from the supermarket. Filters are changed according to use, normally once a year, and the membrane every few years.
Water softener: the whole house without limescale
A softener goes on the incoming supply and treats all the water: showers, taps, washing machine, dishwasher and water heater. It uses resin that holds back limescale and is regenerated with salt.
You notice it on shower screens, skin and hair, taps and, above all, in the lifespan of the water heater and appliances.
Real jobs: reverse osmosis units

Osmosis, softener or both?
- You only want good drinking water: reverse osmosis
- Limescale all over the house is the issue: water softener
- Both: a softener for the house and osmosis in the kitchen
- Small or rented apartment: a compact osmosis unit
Before recommending anything we measure your water hardness and look at the space available.
Tap water around Elche
Tap water in Elche is safe to drink, but it is hard: it carries a lot of dissolved limescale. That is why so many homes have white crusts on taps, half-blocked shower heads and water heaters with limescale-coated elements.
Many people from northern Europe also simply do not like the taste. An osmosis unit solves that without buying bottled water.
Filter changes and servicing
We change filters and membranes on most common osmosis brands, even if we did not install them. On softeners we check the programming, regeneration and valve.
We remind you when the next change is due. For holiday homes we can do it while you are away.
What affects the price
- Type of unit and capacity
- Whether there is a water supply and waste nearby or they have to be added
- Whether the softener includes a bypass and pre-filter
- The servicing plan you choose
Osmosis and softeners: FAQ
How often do osmosis filters need changing?
Pre-filters normally once a year. The membrane lasts longer, depending on use and water quality. We let you know when it is due.
Does a softener make the water salty?
No. Salt is only used to regenerate the resin and goes down the drain. The water from your taps does not taste salty.
Will an osmosis unit fit in a small apartment?
Yes. Compact units fit under almost any kitchen sink.
Which areas do you cover?
Elche, Arenales del Sol, El Altet, Torrellano, Santa Pola and Gran Alacant, Crevillent, Aspe and Novelda.
Tired of limescale and bottled water?
We will advise you without obligation.
